R.I.P - Rod Thorneycroft

The Northern Saints would like to offer their deepest condolences to the family of Rod Thorneycroft. Rod was a legend of Fawkner Amateurs Football Club and a wonderful person.

R.I.P Rod.

Junior Player of the Week - Mikayla D'Angelo

Junior player of the week is Mikayla D'Angelo from our Under 15 Girls team.

Mikayla kicked 5 goals playing in the midfield and it could have been more. Ran relentlessly and continuously all day at every contest.

Mikayla took several contested marks all around the ground proving how complete she is in the air and on the ground. Also showed great courage all day, and was even lucky enough to earn a nice shiner for good measure.

Volunteer of the Week - Sharon Watson

Our Volunteer of the week is the lovely Sharon Watson.

Sharon worked all night in her normal job then got woken to come in and take over at the canteen due to a late withdrawal, then worked all day in the canteen for our Juniors at home.

Senior and Reserves Games Cancelled

Please be advised that EDFL have informed us that there will be no senrior reserves game with Jacana on Saturday, May 11. Jacana can not field a team for both their senior and reserve sides.

Please get down and support our Under 19s at Coburg City Oval at 10am - Saints V West Coburg.

As a result, the Saints Classic Car show has been postponed to the 25th of May.

Volunteer of the Week - Lauren Blasic

The volunteer of the week is Lauren Blasic.

If you've been at our club you will have seen her and her scooter.

Lauren helps out at Junior and Senior training and is always available to help on game days.

Mothers Day Celebration!

All Ladies, Mums, Grandmothers, Sisters and Female supporters of the Northern Saints Football Club are invited to the Saints Club rooms this Friday 10th May from 5.30pm to 6.30pm to share a coffee/tea/hot chocolate and cake together to celebrate Mothers Day and all the ladies at our club.
