Anthony Petrocco

Anthony Petrocco
Anthony has made an immediate impression at the club in his first year, with his fantastic leadership and dedication.
He has been a welcome addition crossing over from cross town rivals Pascoe Vale Football Club in search of regular first team football. Anthony is the perfect team mate, committed, a great communicator and reliable. We look forward to Anthony leading our backline for many years to come.

Weird rituals before or during a match? Weird ritual that seems to happen during every game is that the forward I’m playing on doesn’t get a kick.
Favourite ever AFL footballer and why? Lenny Hayes: courageous, skilful, consistent, tackling machine and just a no nonsense footballer. I cried when he retired.
Biggest influence on your football so far? My dad because he has never complimented me once in the 13 years I’ve played. This hasn’t made me strive to be better, just convinced me I’m no good.
