Northern Saints Girls first ever EDFL match!

The under 15's girls match at Ormond Park on Sunday was a historic day for two football clubs!

The home side Moonee Valley unfurled it’s premiership flag from 2018, whilst our Northern Saints girls team played their first ever EDFL competition match.

Our Northern Saints girls were beaten by a stronger more experienced opponent, but our girls fought the game out to the end in what were difficult conditions, especially for several girls playing their first competitive match. They showed great fighting spirit and are improving each week. The comradery is growing, and we also have great support from an involved and invested group of families and parents.

We can’t wait for the next game!
