Northern Saints Club Policies - Please read & understand them. Codes of Conduct   The Northern Saints Football Club is a KidsSafe club and has adopted a set of codes and policies, the aim of which is to provide the best environment for all players, coaches, officials, parents and spectators. These policies are included at the back of this booklet and can also be viewed at the club’s official website www.northernsaints.org.au The Codes of Conduct cover all aspects of both the seniors and juniors including; player and parent behaviour, coaching philosophies and outlines the procedure for any issues complaints that may arise throughout the season.   The Northern Saints Football Club believes in ensuring a family atmosphere is incorporated into the club with a no alcohol rule at our ground during junior games and the strong encouragement of parent involvement in all aspects of the matches played. Failure to abide by the clubs’ Code of Conduct by Parents, Coaches and other individuals will not be tolerated.   It is the policy of the club that there should be equal opportunity for all. This applies to external recruitment, internal appointment and opportunity for training and promotion regardless of sex, creed, colour, race, age, disability or ethnic or national origin. The club is committed to the development and promotion of equal opportunity for all.   All players, coaches and officials, parents, supporters and Committee members have a responsibility at all times when representing the Northern Saints Football Club to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner consistent with these values and the Codes of Conduct.   All players, parents and club officials will be required to sign a Code of Conduct upon registration with the club.   You will find Code of Conduct forms at the back of this booklet.   An AFL KidSafe presentation is conducted at the start of every season. This is a formal program provided by AFL Victoria, is an important part of ensuring that the club maintains a safe environment for everyone who is a part of or is visiting our club.
