Submitted By editor-2 - 8-September-2010 12:07 pm The Northern Saints Football Club is holding it's Annual General Meeting on Thursday 23rd of September @ 6.30pm. The club will be unifying it's junior and senior committee to form one solitary board for the club. It is envisaged that such a move will promote uniformity in it's strategic vision, pool it's resources to ensure optimum efficiency within it's operations and ultimately provide a better framework for the members. The event is a one day event, where 4 primary schools from the area will be participating. The participating schools this year are, St Marks, St Matthews, Fawkner Primary and Moomba Park Primary School. The day is marked as a day of recognition, acknowldegement and celebration of the wonderful contributions to the club by the many women involved at the Saints. However, not only are the those ladies that are directly involved with the club recognised, but the partners, mums and sisters of the current players and officials of the club. ( Read more... ) Life Members - The Life Blood Submitted By editor-2 - 6-May-2010 11:39 am Saturday 1st of May, was the day the Northern Saints Football Club acknowledged the fine selfless contributions of the Life Members that represented the clubs that Northern Saints is so richly steeped in. An assortment of Life Members from BOPS, Fawkner Amateurs, Moomba Park and Fawkner Park attended this day. Refreshments were provided and a section was cordoned off so that Life Members could relax, and catch up with old buddies and friends, and regale themsleves of yesteryears memories. Each of the Life Members that attended were awarded a new Northern Sants Life Members Badge, as recognition of their past invaluable contributions. ( Read more... ) Congratulations Chappy Submitted By editor-2 - 19-November-2009 8:42 pm ( Read more... ) Northern Saints @ Fawkner Festival 2009 Submitted By editor-2 - 19-November-2009 6:40 pm For a third year straight, the Northern Saints Football Club particpated and assisted with the Fawkner Festival which was held at  Moomba Park Reserve, which ironically was a former ground of the club. It was a great day and the weather was beautiful. The footy clinics were a treat for the young kids and for those young at heart. Many thanks must go to those wonderful giving people who did a sterling job not only serving up a treat to the hungry, but also acting as part - time traffic marshalls. Also, a big thanks to Barry Plant for supplying their "Spider" tent to the organisers which provided a wonderful rest area and relief from the searing sun.
